About this calculator

Search for a CBAM calculator and most results are consultancy lead forms: hand over your details, wait for a call, receive a quote. Meanwhile exporters and importers just need to know the order of magnitude — is this shipment a €200 problem or a €20,000 problem — before anyone pays for assurance.

This tool does exactly that, with nothing hidden: the formula is shown, every input is editable and labelled, official sources are linked, and everything runs locally in your browser. It is part of the shopifyai.xyz family of free seller tools, alongside the Amazon Fee Calculator and Invoice Generator.

It is an independent tool, not affiliated with the European Commission or any EU institution, and it is not legal, tax or compliance advice — see the data sources & methodology page for exactly where every number comes from.
